My mom enrolled me in ballet class when I was 3 years old because she thought I would enjoy it since I loved classical music and she believed that I had the potential to be great at dancing, but I became bored with it after a while so I ended up taking time away to try other sports. At the age of 10, my mom encouraged me to give ballet another try and I ended up falling in love with it realizing how amazing it was to dance ballet.
I was too young to remember my very first ballet performance, but I can clearly remember my first solo. Two years ago, I performed for the first time by myself at the Youth America Grand Prix. I chose the Aurora act 3 wedding variation, and performed at the Chicago location. It is so exciting to be able to dance a solo in front of an audience!
I am working really hard each and every single day to make my dreams and goals come true.
