My name is Mariana Restrepo De La Torre, I'm 18 years old, I'm from Medellín, Colombia and I'm currently a dancer with the Company of Ballet Metropolitano de Medellín. I started taking dance lessons when I was 4 years old at a local studio called Villa Danza, and since then I fell in love with it. Even though I've practiced other styles and techniques, classical ballet has always been the principal for me. I have taken various summer programs at Miami City Ballet School (US), L'école Supérieure de ballet du Québec (Canada), and Ballet Metropolitano de Medellín (Colombia) with national and international dancers and teachers. The ballet world has always been very fascinating for me, and is such an honor to represent the professionalization and growth of it both in my country and abroad, working alongside Grishko and Arabesque Colombia, brands that provide beautiful, comfortable, useful and durable products that allow me to keep doing what I love without having to worry about anything else.
