My name is Sofie Leung and I am a student currently studying in the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. I started ballet when I was 6 years old, following my older sister, Natalie’s, footsteps. When I was younger I didn’t know what I wanted to be, doing ballet classes was just a routine and I didn’t really feel very connected to this art form. But as I continued my ballet journey, I found dancing somewhat soothing and comforting since I was crushed by immense academic pressure. The more ballet I did, the deeper I fell in love with it… I hope to become a professional ballerina in the future and spread the joy of dancing to the world!

Grishko has helped me so much during my dance journey as all their products are so well made! Their pointe shoes fit my feet perfectly, especially Miracle, and I love the way they make my feet look, as well as how they make my feet feel healthy and supported. Another thing I like about their pointe shoes is that they provide many different models, shanks and with for different types of feet which makes it possible for a lot of dancers to find their perfect shoes.
