         Marcia Jaqueline began her ballet studies at the Maria Olenewa Dance School. Her dedication, hard work, technical and artistic abilities allowed her graduate at 14 years old. Too young to be hired by the Municipal Theater Ballet, she first joined as an intern; she was hired two years later by the director Jean-Yves Lormeau.

         In 2007 she was promoted to Principal Dancer, having danced the leading roles in all the seasons presented by the company. Among her performances stand out: Odette and Odile (Swan Lake/Yelena Pankova), Sugar plum Fairy and Snow Queen (The Nutcracker/Dalal Achcar), Nymph (Amazon Forest by Dalal Achcar), Kitri (Don Quixote/ Dalal Aschcar), Tatiana and Olga (Onegin/John Cranko), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet/John Cranko), Swanilda (Coppélia/ Enrique Martinez), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty/Jaroslav Slavick), Giselle (Giselle/Peter Wright), Lise ( La Fille Mal Gardée/Frederick Ashton), Gamzatti and Nikiya (La Bayadére/ Luis Ortigoza) In her repertoire also includes works by George Balanchine (Serenade and Divertiment No. 15), Roland Petit (Carmen and L’Arlesienne), Michael Fokine (Les Sylphides and El Spectrum de la Rose), Uwe Scholz (Creation and Seventh Symphony) Glen Tetley (volunteers), Peter Breuer (Cinderela), Reginaldo Oliveira (Medea “The fall M.” and Othello).

         Throughout her career, Marcia Jaqueline had the honor to study and work with great personalities of dance as Marcia Haydée, Richard Cragun, Natalia Makarova, Peter Wright, Vladimir Vassiliev, Elisabeth Platel, Jean-Yves Lormeau, Marcelo Gomes, Eugenia Feodorova, Tatiana Leskova, Bertha Rosanova, Dalal Achcar, Glen Tetley, Luigi Bonino, Desmond Kelly, among many others. She participated as guest dancer in several Brazilian companies, which include: Black Swan Dance Company, Deborah Colker Dance Company, Cia Brasileira de Ballet and Seminar International of Brasilia Company.

         Her international career began in 2006 when she attended the 3rd International Dance Gala Teatro Solis in Uruguay. Since then she performed in 2007 and 2009 in the Latin American Gala Ballet in Paraguay. In 2010 she participated in the anniversary celebrations of 75 years of the National Sodre Ballet at the invitation of the company’s director Julio Bocca. In 2011 and 2013 she was invited to the Gala of International Ballet Festival of Miami. In 2014 she participated in the III International Gala of the Teatro Colón. In 2015 she was invited by Márcia Haydée to star in La Bayadére with the Municipal Ballet of Santiago, Chile.

         In the season 2017/2018 she became a member of the ballet company of the Salzburg State Theater and since then, she has danced all the leading roles in the company.
